Privacy Policy
Tanukeys is an ear-training piano game made by Ikhwan ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to information when you use the Tanukeys app on Android or iOS.
- We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal information.
- There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking in the app.
- Your game progress is saved only on your own device.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Information we collect
None. Tanukeys does not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, microphone, or any other personal information, and it does not send information about you or your device to us or to anyone else.
Information saved on your device
To remember your game, the app saves a small amount of game data on your device: the stages you have reached, the creatures and instruments you have collected, the discovery cards you have unlocked, your daily discovery count, and whether the full game has been unlocked.
This data stays on your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it. If you use your device's own backup feature (such as Android backup to your Google account, or an iCloud or computer backup on iOS), this game data may be included in that backup, which is managed by Google or Apple under your account settings, not by us.
In-app purchase
The first stages of Tanukeys are free. The rest of the game can be unlocked with a one-time purchase. That purchase is processed by Google Play on Android or by the Apple App Store on iOS. Your payment details go to Google or Apple, never to us.
To know whether the full game is unlocked, the app asks the store whether this purchase has been made on your account. The store's answer is used only to open the stages you bought. Google and Apple handle purchase information under their own privacy policies:
Internet connection
You can play Tanukeys without an internet connection. The app only connects to the internet to talk to Google Play or the App Store when you buy the full game, restore a purchase, or check a purchase you have already made.
Third-party services
Apart from Google Play and the Apple App Store for purchases, Tanukeys uses no third-party services. It contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or social media tools.
Children
Tanukeys is made for players of all ages. Because the app does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children. Purchases can only be made through the store's own purchase screen, which is subject to the parental controls and family settings of Google Play and the App Store.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
